Nancy O'Dell began her broadcast career as an anchor and reporter at WPDE-TV located in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Then she became an anchor and morning reporter on WCBD TV. Her articles from Charleston on how Charleston police handled DUI cases with care, led to an inquiry by State Law Enforcement Division. This investigation led to a more strict directive for state authorities. In the year 2000, Associated Press awarded Ms. O'Dell with her Best Report of the year award for the entire South Carolina media. O'Dell has worked at Charleston as a reporter, was a co-anchor for NBC's Miami WTVJ-TV station, before transferring to Access Hollywood where she is an anchor and reporter on weekends.
