Taylor Joy also has 4 siblings, one from each of her parents' previous marriages. Family resided at Buenos Aires up until Taylor-Joy reached the age of six, later moving to Victoria district of London. Taylor Joy said the move from Buenos Aires, to Victoria was difficult and she did not take the time to learn English and was hoping to go again to Argentina. Hill House became her school that she chose after being required to switch schools. Then she enrolled in Queen's Gate School and studied ballet, while also performing in school's productions. In her 16th year she quit school in order in order to pursue acting as a profession. At a very young age, Taylor-Joy was aware of her desire to work as an actress. her goals were realized when she was approached for a modeling gig by Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
