Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the age of 14. Along with BJJ, she also trained in wrestling, boxing and kickboxing. At age 18, she made her debut as an amateur at WCFC. Ladd became more confident after her win, and she won three bouts in Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents all fell during the first round. Then, she returned to WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen has already beaten Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking the fight to Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was able to hand Aspen a unanimous defeat and beat her in a match that tarnished Ladd's career as an amateur. Ladd recovered from the loss and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to increase her record up to 8-1. Aspen was a pro-fighter for the first time in the year 2015, when she signed as a player with Invicta FC. Invicta fight Ana Carolina Vidal in Invicta 2011 and won via first-round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 marked her debut fight in the Bantamweight division. She defeated Amanda Cooper with an armbar in second round. Aspen's dazzling wrestling ability took down McGill in the first round, and she was able to stop her in the third round by TKO (elbows as well as punches). Aspen took on Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. She fought Hoy as a catchweight (138.1lb) because Ladd didn't make weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy to finish her in 2nd round via TKO. The Invicta Fight Night 21 was her last fight in the organization. Invicta FC21, she defeated Sijara Banks by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She faced Linalansberg during UFC Fight Night 118. She was a step ahead of Lina and pounded her with a ground-and-pound in the second round to secure a TKO victory. In her next fight, she overcame Tonya Evinger more convincingly. Ladd ended Evinger in the first round. She also received a performance of the night bonus. Her first major fight in The UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Both fighters put up an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd triumphing via a unanimous decision and both fighters getting the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie finished Ladd after 16 seconds which ended her streak to win. She came back to finish Yana Kunitskaya during the third round at UFC in ESPN 7. In her most recent fight with the UFC she was a part of Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 to replace her fight. The fight ended in a unanimous verdict.
