Gerina-Piller
Born on March 29th, 1985 in Roswell New Mexico. Gerina Michel Mendoza was her birth name. Gerina Stevenson, the Mexican mother from Rita Stevenson Stevenson and Alan Stevenson Stevenson, is birthed in Mexico. Her heritage is Mexican-American as well as an American in citizenship. Since her early years the desire for her to be active in sports was strong. Gerina started playing golf at the age of she reached the age of 15. Gerina was a student at Goddard High School for her high school education. While in highschool, Gerina took home the New Mexico golf state tournament. As a volleyball player, she also competed in state competitions. She enrolled in Texas's University of Texas, Texas, for the 2003 academic year. As a senior, she won each tournament in which she participated. In her undergraduate professional career, she took home an award for Conference USA Individual Champion Player of the Year and Female UTEP athlete of the year.
